Past Week
Last week I participated in my craft store's scrapbook competition, and got so much support from my friends.. and their friends, and their friends friends. I'd like to thank each and everyone who liked the photo, really appreciate it. Though I don't think me and my girls are going to win it, I guess it's okay.
Been busy with school orientation for the past week and have never felt lethargic than ever, partly because most of the activities takes place under the incredibly scorching hot sun.
And here's a random picture of a cat I took of when I was roaming around Changi village.... Wish I could keep it.
and Finally had thosai for break fast last night! Been wanting to try it since forever.
And after Mahgrib tonight, It'd be the last 10 nights of Ramadhan. Not to mention Hari Raya is only next Sunday. It's scaring me.
National day's tomorrow, and I miss spending the time to catch the fireworks. The last time I watched the fireworks with the best view was in 2008, when I was participating in NDP. The fireworks was right above my head. All the other participants sat really still, quiet, and an arms length away from each other, all in a formation, heads all up to the sky.
Think that moment was magical.
But it's just fireworks. Wonder how it feels like when I get to see the Aura Borealis up in the North. I might just faint out of excitement.
Sigh, until that happens, I should learn to be grateful for what I have been given, and what I have.
Already midweek, 2 more days to the weekends!
Have a really blessed week, xo

August
Assalamualaikum, August.
The 12th day of Ramadhan. I think this year is going way too fast, I can't even remember the past week. Not to mention the first 6 months of the year.
The weeks been rough, but my positivity is coming back. I guess there are always going to have a balance in life, right? You can't have a high without a low or vice versa.
We're just Humans.
I shall continue this blog post like how I usually do it: my adventures/pictures!
Last week I got myself another set of scrapbook papers! I've already decided for these to be a journal of my pictures developed from my Canon AE-1.
I have faith in the sales assistant who installed the film roll, I think I'm going to make a trip there again to have her teach me and.... yeah install it for me again.
Walked around a mall and saw this journal, totally got my attention. Thought of getting one of it but the contents weren't worthy of my 20 dollars. I passed.
Also realise that most of the shops have vintage concepts for their decor, think its really nice to look at. Makes anybody want to go in and dig deep. At least for me.
On the side note: My Etsy!
I've finally updated the listing and removed some old journals. So do check them out :-)
These two got to be my favourite among all of them.
Have a really blessed week! xo,

Crafts Made Today // Mission (almost) Accomplished
Salam Friday!
Spent the whole morning until the late afternoon crafting.
How do i do it?
Step 1. I take out everything I have that has got to do with what I want to make.
Step 2. Stare at it.
Step 3. Stare at it longer....
Step 4. Randomly mixing things together.
Step 5. Take time to feel the craft.
Step 6. This doesn't make sense at all.
But anyway these are some of the things I made:
// Turquoise/Teal Journaling Cards Booklet
Here's how it looks like on the inside:
// Pastel Striped - 4 Shades, 40 pages of designed paper.
// Hard Cover with string and button
Here's how it looks like on the inside:
//Air Mail on Black book - Planning to re-do this one because it just... doesn't look right.
// Air Mail on kraft - 40 pages of designed paper
// Project Re-do : The voyage/The Take Off
And that's basically it.
And.....
I still have about 3/4 crafts on my mind.
Inspiration, you gotta stick with me now.

Crafts to be made //
Last week, the manager gave me the opportunity to sell my items at the store I'm working at. I couldn't thank God enough for the opportunity, was so elated with the news I decided to invest a little more on craft items. I hope everything will turn out the way I intend it to be, If God is willing.
Did a cover for the previous travel journal I did a few months ago, I think it looks way better now that it includes an envelope on the inside. So happy that it turned out the way I planned it out to be.
More pictures of it as soon as I finish all of the crafts!
Here are some of the things I bought earlier today, as mentioned in the earlier post! Inspired to do some crafts? I know I am!
Until Then!

Etsy Shop Update
Finally listed up new crafts on my Etsy. Still feel/think as if my crafts are nothing compared to the random book stores I've been to. All i get inspired with is paper. paper good and vintage papers. envelopes, anything old. Have also been thinking about selling illustrated stickers, geometric designed journals/necklaces...
But then again experimenting requires alot of time and money.
I am this close | | to being broke.
Anyway do check them out in my Etsy store you guys! Until then!

Scrapbooking // July
Nearly a month ago I bought new scrapbook papers from my craft store. I quickly took each and every piece of them papers the moment I got them out of the cartons.
And you bet, part of my job is to squeal at new pretty craft items that comes randomly every week. Most of the girls in my craft store do. It's almost a habit. I wonder what the new male 'recuits' are going to think of when they see us do that.
It's pretty annoying. But girls, you know they fall in love with anything pretty.
So anyway... I spent another 6 bucks on fancy papers for the frames on the scrapbook paper.
Kinda categorised the pictures and pasted them all together; Typical mornings, Desserts, Adventures set on foot, etc.
Just waiting for these to be filled up so that I can get another batch of new scrapbook papers.
Endless love for maps and anything to do with paper good.
Until then!
