In between March, Etsy Listing
Updated CanvasAndInk's Etsy with new handmade Tote Bags with inspired designs as well as a whole lot of typography art. Had to make a trip to town on my only off day because I don't know any places that does good printing at cheap prices.
Also planning to make new designs on tote bags, if you have any suggestions do email them to me!
1. CanvasAndInk's 'I Am Visible' Tote Bag
2. CanvasAndInk's Blue Mountains Tote Bag
3. CanvasAndInk's Joy Division Inspired Tote Bag
4. CanvasAndInk's Mustard Dip-Dyed Tote Bag
And all of these typography wall art/Home Deco/Wall Deco:
Do check these items out in my Etsy Store if you are interested in any of these items shown above, I'll be eternally grateful!
Anyway I booked a booth on the 24th for a flea at *SCAPE, this coming week. Planning to sell all my blogshop clothes, navy UO mary janes and my left over bags made last year. Selling them really cheap because I'd like to hit a hundred this time round.
Until then, xx

Crafts for the past 2 weeks
It's been approximately 2 weeks since I've blogged about my crafts, been too busy during the holidays, I didn't even have enough time to plan things out. Got hired recently at a lovely craft store, and job's being good so far. Despite having to stand for a really long time, this job might make me stay for a little while longer than the other jobs I left.Currently looking forward to the result of my appeal at the end of March. Am really hoping to get into a decent poly, because art school seems a little..... extreme for me. The fees and what not. Counting my days to the end of March, leaving me with 2 weeks to the actual day.
Anyway, some pictures of the crafts I made these past 2 weeks :
1. 'Dawn is mine but i will share it' Typography design on a Dyed Tshirt I did last year. Words were inspired by a book i borrowed from the library though I didn't come up with it.
Thinking of printed typography shirts on Etsy... but I'll have to look into it.
2. Dip-Dyed Totes to feature on Etsy? Don't know if it's good enough to feature them. Suggestions?
3. Filled in the white blank space on the dip-dyed tote shown earlier with a design inspired by Joy Division. I think it looks a little bit better?
4. These babies, definitely are going to be featured on Etsy. Nothing much of designs on a tote bag, something I came up with when I still unemployed and bored. If you have any suggestions on any designs, do email them to me!
5. Paper Wallets! Inspired by the collection Mighty Wallet has, I made quite alot of them until my Mum said it's..... not really good to sell them because.. well she had her reasons. So I guess I can't sell them at all u_u
One of my journals got snapped up instantly and also one of my poster designs, couldn't be more happier, God bless!
Mom's birthday today~ Will update with a post if I've got something to post about.....
ok.

2nd week of February
February's weather has been rather brutal, it feels like summer here in Singapore everyday. It's those kind of weather that makes you lethargic, sleepy, dying of dehydration, and most of all feeling restless.
but the light from above made pictures much more lively, the colours of the sun rays in the morning and when it's setting down. The colours of the trees and leaves not to mention the clouds.
Been so busy experimenting on things and finishing the orders, with God's will, I am finally seeing ticks beside the orders! It took me so long to find time to finish them, and to balance the other things in life all together. Guessed having a planner does wonders. (I'm not lying, it really does.)
Here's a little Handmade Vintage Journal I made and designed, with envelopes and old papers, index cards, work record card stock paper. Came across alot of them in the artsy stores and I thought I might just try making my own. Added in a few envelopes in too.
Initial size was the cover page, but It's too pretty to be trimmed and cut away. And besides, it looks way much better this way, yes?

Definitely going to sell this Handmade Journals off on my Etsy! Before that I think I should add in something more.... Like stickers? or handmade cork stamps?
Feeling a little artsy this morning and decided to paint my cover page for my portfolio! I think its a tad bit too colourful though... especially for a portfolio. Maybe I'll get a plain black cardboard and designed it with white puffy paint.

And now for the crafts!!!!! (I am so excited just posting this)

Finally sewn the handles on for my colourful totes! I can barely wait for me to stock up my lining and then I can finally sew my last piece. Still thinking of the price though, might sell it off for USD30.

Did some perfect printing on totes, Gotta Thank God for this. I'm still doing the tote business, but only doing printing for now. Do email me if you're interested!

Got a piece of brown good leather here at home that I managed to get in a thrift store. Still wondering what to do with it. Might do the exact coin purse above?

And also!!!!! I finally did some dip-dye on fabric!!! Doesn't really look like dip-dye here because of the lighting (I took this at night.) SO.... I shall make this into a sling bag with black straps, of course featuring this on Etsy soon enough!
And now.... just some random stuff about myself.... and my life.

Got these fringe boots at a good price!!!! Beyond excited to wear it out.

Parcel received only this afternoon and I squealed upon seeing it on my laptop. Isn't this pouch (it comes with a long strap.) worth 10 bucks? YES 10!!!

And then I went to the bookstore, took a picture of the book I'd probably want to read... then bought my favourite Yoghurt (The best compared to Frolicks/Yami/or any other yoghurt stores in SG).
GO TRY YOGURU OR ELSE>>>>>>>>>
nothing will happen.
That is all.

flea market at *scape

Still have 'em plenty of bags to sell for the next flea market at the end of Mid/End of October. The satisfaction you get when you get paid for something you did with your own hands is.... incredible
Beats working in an Indoor Children's playground entertaining customers during weekends.. Pretty depressing to listen to nursery rhymes for 8 hours straight but I guess should be grateful. OH WELL
