On the 4th of the year, I went out to get some necessities for my sewing projects. Walked from Lavender to Bugis by foot and I could have sworn my legs were sore as hell. In an addition to that, the scorching hot weather here in Singapore.

2nd day of the year, I made my way to the art printing shop to get my designs printed for my portfolio.

Accept Reality is one of them.

And then right after, I made a trip to the marketplace, and then i figured out I could take a few pictures.

Seriously loving the effects of the iPhone. I don't always carry my camera around, and my Diana Mini takes about a week before it can be developed. Speaking of which, I'm about to finish my first roll of Tungsten film..... after God knows how long.

I've already arranged my artwork and chosen the best of my artwork for my portfolio. I also have been creating new bags, laptop sleeves and about to experiment on iphone casings for my Etsy.

If God is willing, I'll be able to feature these items by the end of this week.

School is starting on the 8th and I am really not looking forward to sit down and listen to a lecture. I am.... really not made for that.

Oh.....

And I still have a report to do.

I DO NOT WANT TO DO ET

From where I stand

These pictures were taken this week, when i was out running errands. My last week of 2011 have been really busy, and I have so much in mind to do for my portfolio. I've already started brainstorming and putting the pieces together, as well as planning on how I'd present it and the appropriate portfolio file I'm going to make. Really cannot wait to share it here!

Other than that, I've also decided to print out the pictures taken by the iPhone, Since I don't take pictures with my DSLR all the time, infact I barely even use it at all. I like my bags lightweight, and the thought of carrying the DSLR the whole day is horrifying. I used to bring my Nikon all the time, and for these 3 solid years I've been using my Nikon D60, I haven't got enough money for an upgrade.

Not for a new camera, (I nearly bought a new one because I really couldn't be bothered to bring it out anymore), But then again I decided to just get a new lens. That of course when I earn a little cash on my own.

A few days ago, I received an email from PhotoJojo, telling me what projects I can do for 2012 daily. And one of them is taking pictures fromwhereyoustand. I thought this is pretty interesting. I go to many places all the time, with different shoes and surroundings. I decided to pick up this 365 project for the upcoming year, 2012.

I've also got a new handmade vintage journal to document my 2012.

Since I ran out of cash this holiday, I had an idea of doing a handmade planner instead. It's a really easy DIY project.

All you need is:
-Old papers, Vintage ones works the best.
-Hole puncher
-Some twine

You put them altogether, punch them, then tie them up with the twine. You may arrange it because that's what I did. I have small papers all over in between.

Check out my update after this post on my new items featured in my Etsy!

Until then. xo
