Week 4
Week 4 //
Officially the 3rd week in school, and doing good so far. Although the thought of never ending assignments sickens me, but I quite enjoy it. In a weird way. They say it's "Suffering of joy", contracting enough.
Anyway, met Asy for a good lunch last week and decided to try on Hanis Cafe & Bakery. Real good food with reasonable price. She also brought me homemade cookies, I love anything handmade!
I also decided to try the food in 15 minutes, the only eatery in my school. Spacious, conducive, price's not so reasonable but the food's good. Not to mention the cool music they play in there.

Things done in school :
Contour line experiments for Drawing Module, turns out to be a big fail. What I needed to draw was the different types of lines, not an illustration.
Meh. But I really felt like drawing illustration.
Did Chinese Indian ink for the very first time and fell in love with it instantly! Wondered why I never gave this a try before. Maybe I thought it can only be used for calligraphy.
lol broken umbrellas. Got everything right except for the handles.
Illustration class:
Finally!!!! My first module done for submission, only left with the sketchbook and all is done. Vectored my sister's face because the lecturer wanted the head to be of someone wearing a red headband.
Then I remembered a picture I took for the handmade headband I sold on Etsy and cropped her head.
Felt as if my shoulders got lighter!
Another hectic week about to come, but I guess I should make use of all the time I have during the weekends to get more work done.
The Nights Festival is here, and still thinking of watching it this Saturday.
School Work and give Nights Festival a miss, or stop take a break and visit The Singapore Arts Museum?
I realized ever since I entered Art School, all I've been is school and home, nowhere else. Always feeling like I'm behind time has it's pros and cons. Kinda challenges me to do quality work, and do proper time management for all of the modules. But it makes me tired at the same time, I tend to rush, and neglect what my body is saying = falling sick.
Note to self: You need to listen to your body.
